Most listings — golf clubs, canopies, small tools — do not require renter insurance. You can rent immediately after paying the deposit.
Required for high-value gear
Hosts renting boats, trailers, UTVs, tractors, or other high-value equipment can require renter insurance on their listing. You'll be prompted to upload proof of coverage or add supplemental coverage before checkout.
Use your existing policy
Have auto, boat, or umbrella insurance that already covers rentals? Upload the declarations page in your profile once and reuse it across every booking. We verify the expiration date at checkout.
Sourced Rentals is a marketplace, not an insurer. Coverage is provided by third-party carriers under the terms of each policy.
