Verified accounts

Every host and renter signs in with Google or a verified email. Profiles show completed rentals and ratings.

Payments in escrow

Deposits and balances are held by Stripe and released to the host only after the item is returned.

Condition photos

Both sides upload before/after photos on every trip. These are stored on the rental receipt as a permanent record.

Two-sided reviews

After each completed rental both parties answer a short 5-question review. Bad actors get filtered out of Browse quickly.

Damage claims

If damage happens, the renter and host work directly with the renter's third-party carrier. Sourced Rentals is not an insurer and does not adjudicate or pay claims.
